SPS Academy

SPS Academy represents a project for deepening knowledge and inspiration for those aiming to work in technological environments with completely renewed skills

Lessons at the Fair

How industrial organization and production models are developing? Which roles, skills and professional opportunities are changing? Through our initiatives we want to reduce the mismatch by improving awareness among students, teachers, and families in terms of prospects and opportunities.

The Lessons at the Fair project is a moment of meeting and exchange between universities, upper secondary schools (4th and 5th year), research centres and companies, giving students—accompanied by their teachers—the chance to visit the fair, meet exhibitors, and attend actual lessons held by the leading companies in the industrial automation world directly at their booths. It will be possible to visit the event by sending an email to valeria.gulotta@italy.messefrankfurt.com and valentina.pireddu@italy.messefrankfurt.com including the following documents:

  • Excel list of students participating at the event, indicating for each: First Name, Last Name, age, grade/class, and contact information of the teachers accompanying the classes.
  • Indicate if there are minors; in that case it is necessary to fill out the liability waiver form below.
  • Specify the date of the visit — either May 26 or May 28.

Note: On May 27 access to the fair will be possible freely, but it will not be possible to participate in the lessons at exhibitors’ booths.

Please note that once the online ticket office opens, each participant must register and obtain the entrance ticket required to access the event.

Minors’ Access: Access for minors to the fair is allowed if accompanied by parents. A minor may be accompanied by an adult who is not a parent, provided the liability waiver form is completed.

Digital District Academy

SPS Italia dedicates a pavillion in fair to new generations and continues its commitment to reducing the gap between school and industry.

SPS Italia On Tour live streaming

Round tables organized by SPS Italia offer a unique opportunity to the national network of technical institutes: seminars are available to all students via interactive whiteboards (LIM), with the possibility of interacting directly with industry protagonists. An experience designed to redesign teaching methods and help young people understand the characteristics of manufacturing, define their life project, and see how it relates to the world of work.

For teachers who wish to follow the live streaming activity, pose questions to the speakers directly in chat, and accredit seminar hours as PCTO (Pathways for Transversal Skills and Orientation), it is necessary to fill out the form and send it to valeria.gulotta@italy.messefrankfurt.com.

SPS Academy On Tour

Which are the opportunities and challenges of automation in labor market? 72% of Italian companies intend to hire, but report that finding new talent is difficult. In a labor market characterized by continuous change and innovation, emerges the necessity to put people at the center and create dialogue between them and business.

With this awareness, SPS Italia makes its fair ecosystem available to foster culture, assist orientation, and strengthen points of contact between school and industry, supporting students and teachers to better understand dynamics, needed skills, opportunities, and emerging sectors. Our goal is to bring students from technical institutes and universities closer to the world of work through events and formative talks in Italian schools.
